| Change the timing of brushed "can" motors in the 300 - 480 size range. Turning the endbell of a motor with the Universal-Timing-Tool will change the rpm, current draw, efficiency and life span of the motor. For example, modify a normal 300-size motor to run in the reverse direction for a gearbox or increase the timing slightly on a neutral timed 400-size motor for slightly more power (less duration, shorter motor life). Optimizing a motor can reduced the brush spark and reduce the chance of radio interference. |
