KAVAN's Bell Jet Ranger was one of the first RC helicopters with collective pitch. From 1973 onwards, model
pilots were able to perform flight maneuvers like full-scale helicopters and aerobatics not yet possible in full-scale helicopters.

| In April 2007 American RC Helicopters Inc. purchased all the tooling and molds for the KAVAN helicopters. Their aim from the start
was to redesign and further develop these legendary helicopters. So, after thorough modernization, Franz Kavan’s famous Jet Ranger is now available in an up-to-date
version. It comes equipped to allow the modeler to fly with either a flybarless or flybar rotor head. The ARH Jet Ranger replaces the old mechanical mixing system with a
CCPM (Cyclic Collective Pitch Mixing) control system for simplified assembly and adjustment. | |
