JEM Brushless Outrunner Motors
Motor choice with ease
Choosing a Brushless Outrunner Motor should not require an engineering degree. We want sport pilots to enjoy the advantages of electric flight without having to spend time studying long tables of technical specifications.
  1. Simply pick the Easy RC System/JEM motor based on the weight of your airplane.
  2. Use a motor controller rated slightly higher than the "Current" listed in the table
  3. Use a three cell Li-Po pack rated for the "Current" and appropriate in size for your airplane and desired flight duration.
  4. Use the "Propeller" size recommend in the table. If desired, vary the size of the prop slightly to optimize performance.
JEM Brushless Outrunners are high torque and use minimal current to ensure long flying times. The models RC104, RC105 RC106 and RC108 are equipped with a mutual motor shaft (shaft coming out both ends of the motor). Models with a mutual motor shaft include a motor mount for rear installation. JEM Brushless motors are a first choice for most applications. All motors have two ball bearings and include a clamping cone propeller hub.
