SIG Dornier Do 217 R/C Electric KIT

Dornier Do 217 Model Airplane
The German Do 217 twin-engine medium bomber went into service in 1941 and was widely deployed by the Luftwaffe, going through a number of modifications, including efficient and deadly night fighter versions. The Do 217 was much loved by its flight crews for its great flying characteristics, firepower and endurance. The SIG Do 217 kit is a stand-off scale model, primarily based on the night fighter version.
The SIG Do 217 has been carefully engineered to provide a model that is easy to build while offering wonderful flying characteristics! Quality SIG balsa wood, CAD designed laser-cut parts make for easy and enjoyable building. Electric power is the ideal choice for an R/C twin-engine model; no engine starting problems, no engine synchronization problems and no engine out asymmetric thrust problems. It can slow down to scale-like speeds and is capable of all the typical maneuvers, such as big, graceful loops, military type rolls, stall turns, etc. Landings are easy with that big wing and dual fins and rudders working to keep the airplane stable through virtually all flight speeds.
