RGT's latest model delivers an unbeatable price/performance ratio. The modern-looking bodyshell covers a chassis with a lowered center of gravity, which uses a two-speed transmission with reverse rotation, free switching between FWD and AWD mode including DIG system and increased front wheel speed (overdrive) by 6%.

The motor and transmission layout was already very well proven in the previous model RGT CHALLENGER, so they are used here with almost no change. Only the gear ratio has been increased slightly for even better control at low speeds. The resulting weight ratio between front and rear axle is 60%/40%.

While one micro servo controls the shifting between first and second gear, the other is reserved for switching between all-wheel drive, front-wheel drive and DIG function, bringing additional options and capabilities when navigating through difficult terrain.

Central transfer case adds a set of reverse gears, so the driveshafts connected to the front and rear axles can rotate in opposite direction. The reverse drive reduces torque twist and improves overall balance.

The use of spiral gears allowed the drive shafts to be mounted in the axles above the level of the suspension links. This has increased ground clearance in this part of the car, and the shafts are also better protected against ground contact.

Updated front axle design with CVD drive-shafts increases the maximum steering angle to 46 degrees.

A modern bodyshell with transparent windows is complemented by a range of realistic accessories and highly detailed headlights. These are controlled by a dedicated light module with a magnetic connector for effortless connecting. A built-in winch from the previous model, powered by a 25kg 360-degree servo with a 90cm long cable is also included.
